Should I place my child for adoption?
The decision to place a child for adoption is a difficult one only you can answer. We can not answer this question for you. We can provide you with information you may need to help make this decision. We will offer you caring support and make arrangements for you to receive counseling.
How will I know an adoptive family will take good care of my child?
Prospective adoptive parents must go through an extensive screening process before they are approved to adopt. The adoption process includes social worker visits to their home, interviews, criminal background investigations and the providing of references. All adoptive parents must be approved by the court. You will also have the opportunity to select the family you feel comfortable with.
Can I choose the family to adopt my child?
Yes, you can discuss your individual desires for an adoptive family with us and we will present families we represent who meet those qualities you are looking for. We maintain information from our families seeking to adopt, which includes photographs and letters. You may use this information to help select a potential family. You may speak with the family or meet with them in person if you desire. You may ask the prospective adoptive family questions, so that you may feel assured this is the right family for you and your child.

If you are in need of assistance, the family you have selected may be able to help you with:

What if my child is a child of color?
If your child is bi-racial, multiracial, African American, Hispanic, Native American or other minority, it is important to discuss this with us when making initial adoption plans. We will present families to you who are looking for children like your own to love and adopt.
